Job Profiles Information Security 2.0

The Dutch Association of Information Security Professionals (PvIB), an organisation of professionals, has set itself the goal of increasing the level of professionalism within the field of information security, while at the same time establishing a clear and transparent situation in respect of qualification.

A uniform system of qualifications for professionals in information security will provide that clarity. To be able to ensure uniform qualification of information security professionals, it is first important to identify precisely which professions are represented within the field of information security, what those professions entail and which competences (knowledge and skills) are required. These elements are described in so-called job profiles.
